Open Architecture Network

In 2007 Architecture for Humanity launched the Open Architecture Network, a collaborative online resource and project management tool for those dedicated to improving the built environment. But it's not just for professional architects--community leaders, nonprofits, technology partners, educators, materials specialists, healthcare workers, and others collaborate and share their expertise on the network.

Design Competitions

Architecture for Humanity hosts and promotes competitions focused on humanitarian and community-based design through the Open Architecture Network. In addition, each year Architecture for Humanity sponsors the Open Architecture Challenge. The Open Architecture Challenge focuses the design community's attention on a different systemic issue facing the built environment and invites designers to offer their solutions. The challenge is open to professionals and non-professionals alike. All entries are shared on the Open Architecture Network.
